The Official "Amp Rack" thread.
more and more people seem to be building awesome amp racks. here's a chance to show them off. Please include amps make/model and other components in the rack.
here's mine: (97 coupe)
(2) Alpine MRP F250
(4) SPX 177 crossovers

Alpine PDX 4.150 and 600.1 plus 2 crossovers for the rear speakers stuffed in there. Box is MDF covered with tru-vette matching carpet and the C6 emblem is from plexi and painted/clearcoated by yours truly.

The current setup is above. The below pic was my old setup, same box/rack.. but you can see what makes it up.
I am about to ditch the whole thing and get something with more air space. I pulled that 10" out and put it in a standard wedge box and it now has 2x the bass performance.
Only problem is now I need new rear carpet since I cut my original one

I can post to the "Official Amp Rack Thread" now!
I got 2 PDX series amps screwed to a 1"x8"x40" that is glued under the carpet to the trunk floor. I used a tube of white adhesive/caulk for the glue. I also cut the undercarpet insulation so that it fit around the board, instead of covering the board. Made for a neater install.

Here's mine...This is Audio Dave's new creation, a combo amp rack & storage bin for the C6.
Amp is a Soundstream Picasso series 4-channel. Two channels driving the Eclipse 3-ways in
the doors & two channels bridged for the sub.
Also, one of his new C6 sub boxes with a 10" Memphis sub!
Also, check out the amount of storage space inside the bin!
