I installed a D3 and put the GPS & Sirius antenna's on top of the a/c vent on the left side above radio as you look at middle vents. Works great, easy install. put down small metal pad and the antenna will just sit right there.

We've done this install numerous times and we place them either in the middle of the dash close to the windshield; or run them to the back glass. Most NAV antenna cables are 20ft at least so they will reach if you want to go that route. Test it out first, I know I have had problems with certain radar detectors intefering with the NAV antennas.
