Memory presets for XM keep erasing

Memory presets for XM keep erasing
This has happened to me twice now and I can't figure out why. I preprogramed six presets for the XM radio. When I get back into the car to drive it about a week or so later, the preset memories have erased. I put the shifter into 1st gear before shutting it down and the engine starts right up a week or so later without any problems. The battery has plenty of power so that's not the cause. The memory presets for the FM retained themselves this time but last time, even the AM/FM presets erased. Sound like a radio problem? Any suggestions?

Are you sure you're using the same fob? The presets are part of the memory function just like the seat position. If you're using the #2 fob instead of #1 that could be why the presets are off.

XM problem
I just got a new 2008 FOB and I'm using that. I didn't realize that the fob would have anything to do with the radio programing but I think you may have just solved my problem. Thanks.
