I have added an amp to my bose system with out using the PAC adapter. I simply spliced into the speaker output behind the HU for the front woofers since they have the bass signal. My question is with adding the PAC adapter improve my sound? I have a 10inch sub in a stealth box and a pioneer amp 150watts bridged..The bass is ok but nothing great..I used to have a 10 inch in the other car and it would hit hard. No guesses please..I don't wanna buy the PAC adapter for nothing..I was thinking of buying a bigger amp and see if that would help.
i have it written down at home. speaker output wires to the front woofers..just like the days..Ran the wires right to my amp that has the line level wire hook up.
where did you pick up the front woofers, the wires you tapped in the back of the radio are most likely the wires that run to the tweeters in the doors, meaning you are missing alot of the low. if your sub isnt really hitting the lows this is why, and you need the pac adapter. if i recall the only way to tap the sub signal is physically at the bose sub
No it isn't i tried tapping into the rears for a signal and that really had no bass. The wires i tapped into r for the door woofer. I am gonna look it up tomorrow and post which wires they r
