Gluing in various blocks of MDF will do a better job than foam, as foam compresses and can at times have the effect of increasing apparent box volume because of its pliability and porosity. After that, some box stuffing will reduce any audible suspension noises.
Since last update I have spent about 4 days trying to get it uniform and trying to get all the lines to have a flowing look. There has to be a trick of doing this faster. The next think is to put glass on the back part of the box, then to apply quick sand primer and hand sand.
Not trying to be a dummass here, but do the subs ever crack the fiberglass and/or body putty?
I imagine if you did not do multi pl layers that could happen, especially with a JL W7. This box has at least 7 layers or more in some areas. You can easily stand on it. The box is heavy, I am just glad that it is over the wheels. Maybe it will help in traction.
Here are a few updates. It might be awhile before I paint It yellow because at the same time I want to paint the console. I think I will go on and install everything that way if I have to modify it, it will not mess up the paint.

Looks real nice! What is the deal with the posts on the woofer hole? Normally you use T-nuts and machine screws. It looks like you are using something else.
Oh man, I'm like all excited to see this completed, been following since post number 1 and I'm like wow. I have a Vert though wonder if I can get one made for mine.

I used the t nuts, the bolts are button head alen head stainless steel. Won't ever see them I just thought they were cool. Same thing that holds in the amps and bigger ones hold the amp cover on. Thought it went with JL bolts in the amp.

Not really an update on the box but the whole project. I am waiting to paint the box at the same time that the trim pieces get painted. All the none painted trim pieces will be covered in faux leather. That stuff isn’t cheap. All the sound deading is from Secondskin. This project has turned into a monster.
