Double Din in 92 C4
Is is possible to fit a double din dvd player in a 92 C4. I've seen pictures of it. But is there any modifications that need to be made to make this happen? There is a picture of one under C4 General Discussion subject DVD/NAV??? Will it fit? I'm looking at the Pioneer AVIS-d3. If any kind of modifications what needs to be done?

Just installed an alpine single din with the metra kit. I had to modify the kit slightly to mount the unit for flip down. You will have to cut out the back as well with a dremel not a huge deal. If it flips be concerned with hitting the top right corner of the Radio/Climate bezel. If standard, meaining no movement should be ok.
Also if full motorized, be careful of the shifter.

just installed a d3 in 1994 on thursday. i had to cut out the back abs wall behind the radio for additional mounting depth. made new mounts using back staps to the factory mounting locations. filed the opening just a hair.
