try rolling the window down, then putting the panel in. you have to put the top on with a little bit of an angle and there are 3 metal clips that at the top. you need to seat those first. if you looks at the front of the door where the weather stripping is, you'll see that there is a curve in it with a raised lip. get the door about 1/4" off that raised lip this should line up the metal clips and bottom plastic clips very nicely. if the door has never come off before it will be a little more difficult to put back on. but you have to push down first with the metal clips up top.

Stinger makes good quality stuff at a mid level price point. I've had one for years that's been flawless. Tsunami comes to mind as well.

Like this?

The Styrofoam enters the door cavity, so if your deadening is covering that you will have problems. You also need to be careful of the upper lip where the door panel attaches to the door. You can see a distinct line where the Ensolite stops on the top of my door panel.

Pentavolvo is also correct. If the speaker plate is too thick, it will hit the door panel and/or window switches. That's one reason that I went with the thin plates.

Also... be aware that the door panel may block those mids. Here are some pictures of what I mean:

Notice that as the angle changes, you lose the off-axis access to the driver. You might be better served to make some kick panels for the mids and tweeters.

eh, midrange sharing airspace with the midwoofer can cause enough problems I dont think the blockage will make that much of an extra difference. would suggest open cell foam on that part of the door though, to help reduce reflections inside the odor panel.

Not from this computer, I can't...

Go back and look at my picture.

In the first picture with the full door, notice that in the lower right hand side the Ensolite has been completely compressed into the door compartment. This is the place where the door Styrofoam is pressing into the door cavity. Yours isn't even compressed in that area.

If I were you, I would remove the window switches from the door panel and try to put the panel into place. Use an inspection mirror to see where you are binding up. (Make SURE that you are putting the door panel down on to the door all of the way.)

Double check that all of the door panel alignment pins are aimed directly at the holes, and that the holes are NOT covered by damping/Ensolite. (You can see most of mine... they are the white dots along the black door.)

I'll bet you find that the door panel is hanging up at the top of the midrange driver. If you need to be sure, just remove the speaker pod and try to install the door panel. If it fits, you just found the sticking point.

I can't really tell you where it's binding up if I can't see it... so just take some time to get a feel for where it's hitting. Good luck.

i dont understand the pins you guys are talking about i put the door panel on on top first and then i align the metal pins to the door and then i kinda push on the door panel from the top for it to seat and it feels as if there is something holding it back

Check the window track adjustment (under the door itself behind a small rubber trim piece.

Looks like this and the bolt is a 10mm
