hey my name is alex i will be building my system in my 99 frc and its all for sq nothing more

I will try to document everything as good as possible but here is the stuff thats going in for now

Avic-d3
Cdt Euro Sport 3 way components-Front Stage
jl 10w7 for sub stage
Elemental Designs 9.2x for the front stage and sub stage
Knu Conceptz Wiring

lol Im guessing both of u guys know exactly what the components are and how great of sound quality they are but ohneslty iused a set of 6.2 dls irudium speakers in my old car i loved them to death but i used these cdts with no amp powering them and they werent really that great but thats possibly because there was no amp

Well DLS iridium speakers are much better than the CDT Vifasports... But the amp will make them sound notably nicer than they sound now for sure. Plus a 3 way needs a bunch of extra tuning sometimes.

cdts really shine once you amp them especially a 3way. but i have seen the light of going active and will never turn back

hopefully they will sound good once each side gets 200 rms

i just bought monster cable twisted wire for the speaker wires and i got some monster cable banana plugs hopefully will look very clean

i just got an update the weather was toooo hott i only got 1 door done with elemental designs v1se and elemental designs v4 teklite ran monster cable wires mounted cdt euro sport mids and woofers but im having issues with the door panel going on if anyone can suggest which part of the deading to take off for the door panel to seat please let me know thanks here are the pictures

i need a picture of someones door insulated because i want to see what part of the deadeing i need to remove for the door panel to seat properly

If that foam is 1/4-1/2" thick or thicker, its probably colliding with the Styrofoam on the back of the door panel. I had that issue when I put 1/2 oc foam on mine.

I ended up replacing the rubber moisture plug with a board to stiffen up the door (you MUST heavily paint the exterior facing side) and removing the Styrofoam.

also jsut an fyi if your speaker plates are a big too big they will hit the window/lock controls, been there and done that

so what would be the best size for the speaker bracket? and also if i do take out the rubber stuff and replace it with some wood or w.e you guys recommend any pictures of that and benefits

Board will stiffen the door. You haven't added any stiffening material, so it would be a good benefit for you.

your speaker plates seem to be ok.

well if the speaker plates are the problem try puttin the door on without the window switches and it will go right in then just trim the one corner down a bit on the speaker baffle

no it seems as if there is a problem on the top portion

the speaker plate is a bit of problem but not in that sense

i belive i put to much stuff on the top portion thats why i was looking for pictures of how ppl dynomat the doors thanks
