I Give Up!

I'm trying to install a Peripheral-GMRAP
and the only hang up is locating the "class 2 Data wire Found Anywhere Throught The Car"

I went through the posts here, but one guy said Dark Green wire and another was purple. I've tried them all.

Am I missing somethig really easy?

i always tap at the back of the obdII connector
purple there i believe

OBDII is the conector under the drivers side dash by your knees it is the port where one would plugin a tuning tool ie. dealer will plug in to check/clear codes.
