C6 speaker replacement threads gone???
I had saved a bunch of links on how to replace C6 front and rear speakers, but none of them work anymore?

Does anyone have the info and pics? I bought the speakers and was hoping to replace the upper door and rear speakers in my coupe this weekend.
Thanks,
Paul
I have a vert so I've never removed the rear coupe speakers.

First you need to disconnect the strut for the hatch. You do that by gently pulling out the clip that holds it on. You don't have to pull it all the way off, slide it out about halfway and it will allow the bottom to slide off. Make sure you hold up the side you are disconnecting. I used a 1x2 that was just about the right length to hold it open all the way.
Then I gently pulled the pins at the front of the rear panel on the B-Pillar until they were all the way out.
There is a pin at the back that holds the panel in place. If you distort the panel by pulling the front away from the B-pillar and pull it towards the back, it will slide off the holder. The pin is glued to the rear panel, if you tug at like the other panels I found that it came unglued.
For the front panels, on the left, pull the little cover by the arm rest and you wil lfind two Torx Bolts. I believe they are T-30's.
At teh bottom of teh door you wil see a slot, you can slip a body panel tool, or a very strong putty knife in there and start to pry the door panel off. It will make a horrendous noise, bit it is OK, Simply work your way around teh bottom, and both sides almost all the way to the top. Once you have the pins out all the way the panel should lift off.
On the right gently pry up the door switch and you will find two Torx. Undo those, and the drill is the same, there is a slot at the bottom to get you started.
Getting the front panel back on is a royal pain. There are hooks that need to slide over the top of the metal portion of the door panel. Someone posted that they pushed in the bottom, and the two sides as far in as they would go, then whacked the top of the panel with the heel of their hand and it pushed the panel over the top and in place.
I tried it and you really have to whack it pretty hard, but it works.
I spent at least 10 minutes, and more words than the neighbors have ever heard out of me trying to get the top of the panel hooked first then slide in the pins.
Hope this helps, and again this is from memory from several weeks ago of installing new speakers in the front, and disconnecting the rears. For my taste the rears just screw up how I want my music to sound.
