Can anyone recommend some good car audio forums? What is the biggest and best one online? I have asked some questions in this section over the years, and have received limited reponses, so I figuered I would have better luck on a dedicated car audio forum.

A lot of the car audio forums focus on a particular car or system.

I suggest you try GOOGLE for what it is you are interested in.

This forum has a lot of info on a lot of systems for the Vette.

What is it you are looking for?

I did Google "car audio forum" and came up with too many forums to spend time looking through! I am wondering if there is a car audio forum that is considered "the" car audio forum, much like this is considered "the" vette forum. The majority of topics covered in this section deal with late-model vettes, I own a vintage vette.....but I am not really looking for vehicle-specific info at this time. I used to be heavy into car audio in the late 80's early 90's when one of my gigs was as a car audio installer for "the" shop in the city I live in. I also used to compete on the IASCA circuit with a few of my vehicles, so I am used to high-end installs and products. I am now getting back into things, and I want to catch up with current technology and trends in this sub-culture.

www.Diymobileaudio.com is the 'advanced' car audio place. If you want to talk about crossover design, active set ups, advanced tuning, getting a boner over distortion graphs, fabrication, etc. This is not your 'which best buy components for me?' or 'what sub hits hard?' forum.

www.caraudioforum.com for the latter type of discussion.
