Ok, so I got the SEAS Neo tweets and installed them in the exact same position/mounting cups that the PRS tweets were mounted in.
Result - I was able to turn the boost on my eq down from 6 to 2.
These tweets are great. I've listened for about 10 hours since the install (including a 5 hour trip) and they sound good, musically. Far better than the PRS tweets they replaced. These (NEO) tweets handle almost twice the power and are more efficient.
The kicker is that I was gonna install 4 Neos, but I only installed 2.
P.S.
These tweets are fragile. As I tried to unplug the tweets after a function test, the terminal lifted and broke the hair width positive lead rendering one of the tweets useless. I'll be ordering a replacement.
