Looking for recommendations. I've got an Alpine PDX 4.100, and I plan on mounting it in the passenger rear cubby if at all possible. I already have patch cables.
Circuit City has 30% off of their car audio accessories, which takes some of the amp kits down to around $60 or so.
Amp will be driving front components and bridged for a sub.
Any good 4 gauge kit. When you say you have patch cables, what kind are they? If they are the cheap, thin, rubber covered ones, they will not be good at all. Make sure you have some half decent shielded cables. A cheap cable can pick up a lot of interference in a car.
knukonceptz, a few things:
1) Do not buy the "CCA" wire.
2) The terminals and crimped connectors are really bad, look at Tsunami, Streetwires, Stinger instead.
I'd run 4 just to be prepared for any future upgrades you might do. I had a 0 gauge laying around and it was pretty simple to run. There are no bulges or anything.
