I have owned my 89 roadster for a little over a year and being the gear head I am haven't paid much attention to the audio system, left front speaker works,ok, girlfriend now is saying it would be nice to at least have 2 speakers working in the car, pulled right speaker (the one not working) and had it checked, speaker works so am going to assume its the amp in door, is there a resistor in this amp that can be replaced? what goes out here,AS ALWAYS ANY HELP FROM FORUM MEMBERS IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED

Check out the tech tips for the Bose amplifier repair, a soldering iron and patience might fix it.
You can send them out to be repaired, I don't have the link handy, but I seem to remember about $40 per amp.
Or you can do like a lot of us do and replace it all. For example I'm pulling the radio, the speakers and amps and putting them in a box for the next owner. I got a good head unit (Rockford Fosgate) and some speakers that I would classify as "good" or "better" right now I've spent around $350 and the installation will take place on Sunday by me. I'll be posting pictures and details on Monday.
