I just met with an Audio guy about upgrading my system... And we are trying to figure out how to design the sub... any suggestions of placement or pictures that I can show him?
If you want it out of the way really the only choice is something like the JL Stealthbox. Have your guy look at that. You're not going to get much more than 1/2 cu ft of airspace though so you'll need to choose your driver carefully.
Aside from that you're looking at taking away storage space across the back wall or just behind the driver's seats, or possibly even creating an entire floor in the hatch area. Just depends how far you want to go...

Does the JL Stealthbox actually sound good?
I did see that but havent heard any positive reviews about it?

JL's subs are very solid performers. They are pricey but their manufacture is very consistent and you'll always get what you expect. A 10 is more of a musical sub rather than a boomer anyway so a box that size gives you a nice tight response rather deep extended bass. I'm more of a fan of that sound style than boomers so my prejudices may be showing but IMO you will spend a lot but get good results. If you can get comparable results for less from a custom go for it.
I would order a box by itself from 4080enclosures.com - they charge $350 shipped, and will refund $25 if you post a review/pictures after install. A sub like the Image Dynamics IDQv3 will be $230-250. I went for the CDT QES-1020 sub for $350 shipped instead. The Morel Ultimo would probably be pretty slick in this box too, but is much more expensive and require A LOT of power.

ID suggests a .75cu/ft box for the IDQv3, but the 4080 box only has .61cu/ft minus .05 for the sub, you only have .56cu/ft. Would polyfill help, or would you lose a lot of bottom end.

I think I read that adding the Polyfill mimics a box that is around .7 cubic feet. The CDT sub is optimized for 0.6 cubic feet and from reviews I have seen, is a superior sub compared to the IDQ.
Adding polyfill basically slows the air movement/wave slightly, providing the sub with the "illusion" of being in a slightly larger enclosure. A decent rule of thumb is 1lb per 1cu^3 of enclosure size.
I believe you can get what is effectively 30% more space, so you could take a .5 cu^3 enclosure and have it act like a .65 cu^3 etc. There is a definite point of diminishing returns, and adverse effects if overused. The 1lb per 1cu^3 is a good guideline.
You also can slightly improve the bottom end performance and response curve with the use of polyfill, but in a properly designed enclosure, you will not see any benefit other than possible enclosure dampening, which there are materials better suited for that application.
You can check out bcae1.com or hit up "polyfill" type searches on the intraweb heh.
I have an IDQ12 in .78cu^3 sealed and I have about .5lbs of polyfill in it, and it smoothed out the bottom end slightly, but did not see any "output" difference. YMMV
