C5 with Z110 dimmer
I know there are tons of these out there in C5's what does everyone do about the dimmer on the Z110? how it seems to respond backwards to the C5's dimmer circuit, the screen gets brighter as you move the dimmer down. when you have the dimmer all the way off the screen goes into daytime mode (because it sees no power to the interior lights and thinks the headlights are off)
I'm tapped into the signal at the climate control. I have aftermarket gauges on my car as well and they are hooked up to the dimmer circuit at the same place. the gauge backlight dims properly right with the factory illumination. do I have to disconnect the dimmer circuit and just dim it manually? that would be a pain. going to start a thread on the avic forum too if I can't find anything by searching.
