Default C6 Sub and Amp Install

Planning on installing a sub, I have Nav with Bose. I have a few questions on the wiring. Do I tap off the rear speakers and feed them into the high level inputs of the amp or do I used a line level to rca converter from these speakers to the amp? Is there a location where I can tap into both the left and right rear speakers without needing to tap in on each side? Where can I find switched power for the amp remote line? I assume to get to the battery for amp power it would be thru the passenger side firewall. Any specific spot or grommet that gets me thru the firewall? Do I use a seat bolt for the ground? I have searched but have not found these specific answers. Thanks

That's what I am doing but nothing is perfectly clear. I see where it is recommended to use a PAC 24 harness, then I see other threads where they say do not use the PAC. Plus debates about tapping in before the Bose amp or after. Just looking for someone that has actually done this that can tell me what to get or what to tap into. I can figure out the power, remote and ground. Thanks

C6 schematics are here

White wire at B3 of main plug is what you need to use for the remote wire.

Low frequencies are NOT present at the rear speakers, plus they're not in stereo on bose models, so don't waste your time back there.

The Add-GM24 is what you need, check out the C6 FAQ for several links.

The PAC website lists 2 items for a 2006 Corvette with Bose:
AOEM-GM24 and C2A-GM24, which is an amp interface. Do I need both these items? Is the ADDGM 24 used in conjunction with AOEMGM24?

The C2A-GM24 was formerly called GMCO, that's for swapping out the radio, you don't need that.

The AOEM-GM24 is a package deal that contains the AOEM module and the Add-GM24 cable. You can buy it, toss the OEM part, and use the GM24, or just find an ADD-GM24 cable by itself.

They have one here for $13 shipped. Instructions for adding the RCA's are in the FAQ.

Saw the write up for adding RCAs. This would mount behind the radio? What is the benefit of using this instead of the main PAC OEM module? If this requires pulling out the radio to install, isnt there another way to tap in to get feeds for the sub without the radio removal?
Thanks
