I just realized a 40 year dream and purchased a 1990 ZR1 with 13K miles. The battery was changed...the radio and tape deck work. The CD player does not. Is there a code to get it to work?? Any suggestions to get it working? If broken any suggestion who might be capable of repairing it? I live on Long Island N.Y. Thanks!!

The Bose radio systems on these cars are very problematic, and many people have just replaced everything w/ new after market equipment. But w/ a low mile car like yours, I would keep it original, and just get everything repaired. The best place is Dr Dons http://www.doctordons.com/ They do good work, and can make your CD player read MP3's. Let us know if you have any more questions or problems.
