Default adding a eq

I have a audio control 4.1 eq i what to add to my sys but cant figure out where to mount it. If anyone who has a c6 and added a eq please let me know how you installed it.

My system

Head jvc AVX 720
Fronts Boston comps
Rear infinitys
Sub jl 12w6
JL 300/1 for fronts
JL 500/1 for sub
Rears run off head

Sounds good now but with the eq hooked up its unbeliveable
Just need some ideas on where to mount it
Thanks in advance Dennis

If you want to avoid severe dash re-molding, Your cleanest install location would be in the glove box. Considering that you will not need to do many on-the-fly adjustments, it's not a piece that needs to have easy access from the driver's seat.

I have an Arc Audio XEQ mounted under the dash, as far back as I could and still reach it with a bit of effort, passenger side, it helps the system a great deal and most do not even notice it being there.

They're just switches. You should be able to easily extend them as long as you need with some light gauge hook-up wire.

What material/color is your dash?

That is an awfully big piece to mount where the ashtray is. I imagine you will have to do extensive work to the console. Another idea for you that I use to do years ago was mount it between the seat and the console. If it's not too thick, you might be able to stick it there. Another option is to mount it under the seat. If you have your amps mounted in the back, mount it back there. You can always do what I did and get an audio control EQS and mount it in the trunk.

The EQ in question is a 1/2 DIN size. Mounting solutions are numerous....getting wiring to them is another story
