C5Z Audio upgrade
I finished a very long speaker install, thought I would share it.
As you know, the C5 Z06 comes with pansy little 5.25's in the rear, which just didn't give out enough sound for anything satisfactory. I had already replaced the front speakers with Infinity Reference 6.5's, so I had to figure out how to install another set of these in the rear, and get a sub in there, all with a Butler Audio 575 Tube amp. Took forever because, well, it's winter, and fiberglass takes longer to dry in the cold. But here you go, customer side pods and sub pod, with the mounted amp.
It sounds amazing! The rear 6.5's are in nice sealed boxes, which gives them a lot more punch than open air, since they're 2 piece and the woofer works better in a sealed box. The carpet doesn't quite match, since the Z's carpet is 11 years old and a bit faded.
Next up is the actual stereo. It's been replaced, but it's older, and incompatible with the iPhone 5's bluetooth for some reason.
