09 C6 speaker upgrade
I just wanted better sound without the amps, crossovers, etc.... I had the 3-1/2" replaced with Infinity 3002 CFX and the 5-1/4" with Alpine SPS 510. The factory subs were left in the doors. I also had the front center speaker disconnected.
There was a big difference. The highs were more pronounced and clear. My expectation was improved sound and that's what I got.
My next thing will be an iPod interface.

Putting subs in the doors was a terrible idea by Bose, but whatever. Even after putting a shit ton of Murder Mat in the doors, they still rattle. I'll be pulling my 10's for sure when I get some more moolah headed my way.
I have the door speakers already (Moreal Integra 8 coaxials) but am so undecided on an amp for them. The Massive Audio nano's are starting to grow on me allthough id rather go Zapco for amps but they don't have a nano line yet as their smallest amp is 13" long.
