I recently noticed that my stereo does not turn off when I turn off the car. Obviously this causes the car to run out of battery. I installed an aftermarket radio a couple months back but I was wondering if anyone knew why the radio refuses to turn off with the car. Any help would be appreciated!
Is this on a C6? Did it work properly when first installed? If yes, your interface adapter prob went bad.
I initially had a Scosche interface in my '07 that refused to turn off the radio after being installed for a few months, switched to a PAC interface and haven't had any issues since.

Yes, this is on a C6. It has worked normally for months now. I'm not quite sure of the next step I should take. Could it be possible that a wire is just loose on the adapter?
Take the center console apart and disconnect the red wire from HU to red wire on interface. If radio stays on, radio is the issue. If radio turns off, use a meter or test light to see if the red wire from interface is hot with the car off, if it has voltage then interface is bad.
