'94 stereo replacement

technical question for my c4 techie family.. '94 non-bose

previously hacked stereo/car alarm install all removed... fresh system all new wires run.. All working well above expectations...
The all mighty SYS blinking is there, which I knew it would... the harness that one would normally install resistor to fix is non existing...
Has anyone traced it back to which computer/control module it goes to... I haven't had time to dig in the FSM yet...

Would like to do the fix at the source, if anyone has done it let me know... don't have to remember how, just want to know it possible and I'll start digging...

Not many C4 guru's here, you'll prob get a lot faster response in the C4 sections
