Default Aftermarket HU with stock amp white noise

Base '06 C6, non-Bose. Everything stock other than a 4200 NEX using the color wires (high level) and a CRUX SOCGM-17 GM Class II Head Unit Replacement Interface with Chime. As some have mentioned, this causes excessive loudness, white noise, etc. Although I've seen multiple videos on wire harnesses for high level, I have no idea on how to work the line-level RCA option using the base/stock amp. 1) The stock amp has no RCA inputs, correct? 2) Would going the PAC route (PAC RP3GM11) instead of CRUX allow me to adjust gain or help in any other way? Thanks!

I suggest just going with the Pac instead. To answer your question, the factory amp does not have RCA inputs, you would need to splice them in. Here is another thread where someone had a similar problem as you with the GM0S-04 interface. Check page two,
