91 Bose Stereo Issues
I have a 91 with the prem bose system.
Very intermittently I get static in the passenger front speaker. For a week this same speaker produced a very loud squell (no sound). But it has been fine for several weeks.
Does this sound like the radio or the amplified speaker?
Has anyone replaced these speakers? Where best to by? I took the cover off and couldn't figure out how to separate the connector?

It likely is the amp in that speaker; each speaker has one. If you like the original system as I do, then Doctor Don is the man to see. He can fix your amps and anything else you have problems with. I don't have his email or phone number with me but if you email me I will get it for you. He is great and you will be happy. :yesnod:
