Has anyone installed one of the newer HU's on the market with the idatalink maestro capability?
They provide a steering wheel compatible harness, HVAC on screen info to your HU and general car info such as what door is open and so on. But they also provide performance information on the HU screen which most interests me.
I haven't seen any information about the C6 Vetts nor anything on the Holden/HSV and emailing them appears a waste of time as they dont reply.
but anyway, anyone state side got the Maestro running in there car?
I've discovered you dont need need iData maestro. All you need is an
Android Auto HU, bluetooth OBD2 dongle, Torque pro ($6.00us) and OBD2 AA (($1.95us) available from XDA labs) to get working performance gauges on your HU.
In the these picture i am still trying to get it setup properly but as you can see it is highly adjustable to your liking. And ignore the picture i used as a background image, it was just a picture i used to figure out how it works.

I was just reading about the Android Auto Torque Pro plugin over at XDA. Apparently version 3.0 of Android Auto was just rolled out by the fun police as it disables 3rd party plugins like this. I disabled auto updates so I could stay at version 2.9 and play around with the Torque Pro plugin. If you've already updated, you can side load the older version of Android Auto back on to your device.
Old post... but still relevant. I just installed the Alpine ilx F309 and would like to add gauges to the screen... Has anyone done this yet? And suggestions would be appreciated.
