Looking to see if anyone else can save me work- no sound from either of the DS door speakers, didn't notice when this started. One of two causes, I know... I put in a reverse camera for the Pioneer HU, so either loosened the speaker connections when R&R'ing the HU, or both speakers are bad? Think it's unlikely that both would fail, so thinking I need to pull the console again & check the speaker connections.
Any other opinions before I pull it apart again?
As always, everyone out there has been lifesavers!
I have the HU out & everything looks ok as far as I can see... wondering if another possible cause could be the crossover for the DS speakers, since they're two separate frequency-range signals? Using my home sound/electronics life experience, if the wiring's ok, then it's either the HU, speaker crossover, or two dead speakers, in order of probability... otherwise I'll put it back together & see if Pioneer has any input (no pun intended) for a possible HU root cause...
UPDATE (if anyone's interested)- FIXED!!
When I looked more carefully at the wires from the HU, the white wire was all alone w/out being connected to anything... I then saw that the white wire from the interface connector had the crimp connector w/out another attached... bingo, crimped them together, turned it on and viola... music!
