I run the 8200 Double din in mine. It's a good unit man. The NEX series from Pioneer are really feature heavy HUs with a lot of growth potential with substantial factory options already loaded. Not a bad buy at all.

In my daily driver '02 Z06, I just installed the AVH-3400NEX.
I chose it over the 3500 due to lower cost and no noticeable difference in the features. In fact, the 3400 looked like it actually supports some things the 3500 doesn't.
I installed it as low as possible to avoid blocking the center vent, but it still blocks most of it. I really like that you can run it with the screen closed and still operate most of the features. I use CarPlay and so far it works great. I removed all the bose crap years ago and I am running Alpine speaker off the head unit amp (Components in front and coax in back) with two 10" subs and a 500 watt amp in the trunk. It replaced an old high-end Alpine unit. I'm still working on tweaking the equalizer to compensate for the horrible corvette acoustics, but so far it sounds great. I will be installing a backup camera this weekend.

Very Happy with new Pioneer AVH-3500NEX. I love the Apple play and having a back up camera. The MAPTECH mount is really good and solid as well. The sound isn't as good anymore. I guess I'm going to have to get a 5 channel amp and components sooner than I thought.
