Backup camera using factory C6 radio screen?

Backup camera using factory C6 radio screen?
I think I already know the answer, but is there any way to install a backup camera on my C6 and have it work with my factory Bose Navi screen?

There is a company called Navtool.com. My recommendation would be to go with an aftermarket head unit and add a back up camera. Real simple to do and you will get a lot of additional features and better sound quality. But if you are intent on keeping the factory nav, then reach out to Navtool. I have never done business with them or used their products, but I believe they make something to add backup camera to factory nav. I'm not sure if it's a simple mod or not. It might involve opening up your nav unit.

Thank you for the reply. Looks like that unit is about $220 and a new Kenwood DMX7706S from Crutchfield is only $504 shipped with installation kit so you are correct, not really worth the effort. The Factory radio works good enough for me, but it would be nice to have some added features of a new radio. I know the DMX7706S isn't the top of the line, but I would think it's still leaps and bounds improvement over the factory radio.

Kenwood makes good head units. I prefer and recommend the ones with a capacitive touch screen for the better graphics, colors, and touch response, but they typically cost a little more than the models with the older resistive touch screens. Either way, once installed, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
