I have an 09' Corvette base and am trying to install a new pioneer head unit in. I wired everything correctly to the best of my knowledge and I got everything hooked up, head unit powers up and everything. I have no audio though. Am I missing a wire here? Does my car have an amplifier that I'm not accounting for that I need to power somehow else now?
The steering wheel controls make the PAC box light flash but has no effect on the head unit.
So I got the audio working, that was the remote connector not being connected. I figured there must be an internal amp in the car somewhere that needs power.
Now I can't get the steering wheel controls to work.
I responded to your other thread in C6 general, but yes, every C6 has a factory amp located in the passenger footwell. So you do need to connect the remote wire to trigger the amp to turn on. For steering wheel controls, did you set the dial on the Pac to the correct number for Pioneer?
I did set the PAC to 7 which is the right number for pioneer I triple checked. The PAC is getting the signal because I see the light flash when I push a button.
I think the pioneer stereo I got has something wrong with it. There's a setting for swc but it's greyed out.
