New head unit Suggestions
I have a pioneer AVH-4100 Head Unit And kinda hate it.
what would you suggest as a replacement.
id kinda like to stay with pioneer I think as to just make it plug and play simple install.
I have a full JL system,Amp speakers and sub.
thoughts, suggestions.

Why do you hate the AVH-4100? If you dislike the 4100, you may be better off going with another brand other than Pioneer, as all brands tend to be very similar across their entire model line up, imo.

The 4100 has the warning screen that come every time you start the car and has to be manually turned off.
that’s one of th main reasons I dislike It.
also it’s been acting up lately won’t play my Pandora has some weird clicking when playing my iPod.
And seems to have a mod of its own when it wants to play.
So thought was going with newer pioneer for easy install purposes.
Ok got it. Any of the newer Pioneer's should meet your requirements. Newer models, the warning screen times out after a few seconds and closes. I would look for one with a capacitive touch screen, and then it is just a matter of what options you want. Built in navigation, cd/dvd player, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, etc., etc.. Choosing the options will narrow down what model is right for you.

yup that was kinda the plan. Was just looking to see if anyone had some hand on exp with them. Trying to just make it a plug and play.
looking for a non nav, as its on my IPhone so no need. Could care less about CDs as I sold all my 660 of them last year lol
id like to not have to hook my phone up the my radio if possible to connect.
Check out the DMH-W8600 then. Mech-less unit (i.e. no CD or DVD player built in), capacitive touch screen, wireless Car Play/Android Auto. It is a 10.1" screen though, so may not fit. I'm pretty sure there is a smaller screen version, just not sure of the model.
I have the DMH-2550 in mine and mostly love it. There are a few things that I believe are due to the installation of the unit (wasn't me). I plan to fix this before spring.
Any of the big name guys Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer have flagship units that are killer. I really like my Pioneer, but I like the Alpine and Kenwood units too. There's something to be a said about a 5V pre-out...they just seem to sound richer/warmer than their 4V competitors. Just my opinion though.
