When installing a new head unit and not using the Bose amp (U65 system) or any additional interfaces (do not want chimes, steering wheel controls etc.)
The HU amp outputs 4 channels each at 4 ohms, the Bose amp has 3 channels, each at 4 ohms and 1 channel at 2 ohms (2 speakers in parallel).
When connecting the HU directly to the existing speaker wiring, bypassing the Bose amp, will the 1 channel with the 2 speakers in parallel create any problems such as frying the HU or the speakers or anything else?

Thanks in advance.
You can't use original bose speakers with non bose head
We have. This post was posted before the question was asked in the General topics forum, but there were no replies so I posted on the General forum. I tried to delete this post but do not know how.
