Anyone have links to a simple plug and play bluetooth adapter? I don't want to go through the hassle of adding the AUX port to the stock radio.
My car is 03 Z05 with apparently a CD changer option (harness/plug is in the trunk but changer is long gone). Something like this would be great but no longer available: https://www.discountcarstereo.com/blu-c5.html
I have no issues with the stock radio, my speakers will need to be swapped at some point since I think the PS door speaker is crackling. I just want simple ability for CD's once in a while and Pandora from my Iphone.
I'm not a fan of any cigarette lighter ones, or adding any wired for USB etc. Simple hidden bluetooth receiver would be ideal.
Since you already the the 12 disc changer wire, you get your hands on a old 12 disc changer and this module will add bluetooth. It does require the changer though.

That is exactly how it works. The only thing showing is the phone mic and a 1/2 inch button that controls the unit (answer calls, hang up, next song, activate blue tooth, etc.).
Thanks.I will use it too. Creating a car Bluetooth app using telecommunication software https://integrio.net/industry-telecommunication has been a game-changer for my business. The app enables seamless integration between car audio systems and smartphones, allowing users to make hands-free calls, stream music, and access navigation features effortlessly. We used telecommunication software to establish a stable and reliable connection between the app and the car's Bluetooth system, ensuring smooth data transfer and real-time communication. This has significantly enhanced user experience, making driving safer and more convenient. Additionally, leveraging telecommunication software has enabled us to provide regular updates and improvements to the app, ensuring its compatibility with a wide range of car models and operating systems. Overall, the combination of telecommunication software and innovative app development has been instrumental in creating a successful and user-friendly car Bluetooth app.

How did you guys get this to fit? The antenna in the Corvette is a different size than the "universal" adapter part of this.

You can buy a short adapter for the antenna cable from Amazon, Crutchfield, etc. It's cheap. Mine had a Sirius XM adapter in it so I could use the antenna adapter from that.

Yeah so I found the adapter that goes from the factory antenna to this iSimple thing, but I can't find an adapter to go from the iSimple unit back into the factory stereo? So from a big connector back down to the "GM10". Is there something obvious I'm missing here?

It's been 10 months since I did mine so I don't remember the exact connections. I do know I only needed 1 adapter. So that means either the iSimple plugs directly into the antenna cable or directly into the radio. So you only need an adapter for the one that won't fit. Sorry I can't be more specific without taking my console apart. Once you figure that out, it works great.

Fair enough - thanks for the reply. The unit I got is an ISFM2351, and the one pictured above is the ISFM2381. I'm guessing the input from the unit to the radio on this one I got must be different from yours, as it doesn't fit. Oh well, back it goes!

ISFM2381 is the model I have. It is an updated version. If you can get that model I know it works. I bought mine from Amazon.
Okay, just in case someone else trips over this also, it seems like these days the ISFM2351 is the only option you can still get your hands on. To make it work you need the metra 40-GM10 adapter AND the metra 40-GM20 adapter. This will go from the factory antenna to the ISFM2351 (40-GM10) and then from the iSimple unit back to the factory head unit (40-GM20). Also, +1 for still having an old Kindle Fire 7 laying around so I could install the Tranzit Blu app and change the radio frequency the unit interrupts (the app hasn't been updated to accommodate newer versions of Android).
I've been really enjoying the device. The sound is great. In the meantime of trying to figure all this out I bought one of those small cigarette lighter Bluetooth adapters and it's really terrible. Even with my loud exhaust I could hear the static. This iSimple unit is far superior.
