need speaker advice
what are the best speakers to replace the factory bose.
i want to replace them in the stock size and in the stock location, but i really want to know what is a better upgrade that would be worth the money.
i just blew out a door speaker so i might as well change them all.

1) How much you want to spend?
2) Are you willing to run an amplifier?
3) Do you like your soudn to come from in front of you, or from behind?
4) Year of Vette?
5) Are you doing the work yourself?
6) Did you read some threads here? Lots of nice suggestions in many threads.

no just a direct replacement no amp.
i guess around 300-500 dollars for new speakers i could deal with

an amplifier and a good set of 6.5 speakers would sound pretty good.
You dont need rear speakers if your front speakers are decent with a nice amount of power. What are you doing for a head unit?
