Someone correct me if I'm wrong as I'm going by how my Pioneer system is but I suggest checking you settings menu and look for something that says "system settings" or "firmware version" and see if it tells you the current firmware etc. installed. Then go to Kenwood's website and see what the latest version of the firmware is, and download and install using the guidance from your owners manual.
