Portable speaker
I am in a big dillema regarding audio in my C4 Corvette. It has decent interior with the original radio. This is rare in the market where I live. I don't want to interfere with the original look and feel much (in a long-term). That is why I don't want to install different audio system with the new radio and speakers. At the same time I have a need to connect through my phone and push some music.
My solution is to put a portable speaker like JBL and place it somewhere so it does not move while I drive. I am aware there would be people who would not accept such a solution, but anyway I wanted to ask you about opinion:
- Have you used portable speakers in your cars?
- What speaker do you recommend? Any specific or any specific feature like 3D sound etc. is recommended? How many W?
- Is there already best place where to put speaker and how to make it stay in place?
- Anything else I should know before I do as above?
I would not listen music very loudly so people outside can listen to. But I would like to maximize quality, accepting that it would be worse than installed audio system. But I hope to have good enough.
I bought Bose SoundLink Max. That is not excellent. For sure different feeling that dedicated system in modern cars. But for me is good enough. I can recommend.
The only pity is that it sometimes lag when I accelerate suddenly.
There is option to pair two of them, but even single is kind of "stereo".
