and I have heard that eclipse units have less than excellent durability, compared with alpine.
the biggest difference is more voltage for the pre-outs. but the higher end alpines do 4 volts. if you want more, visit audio control's site...

Alpine HU's are better than Eclipse in every area. Durability, SQ, and price, you can never go wrong with a good Alpine. :yesnod: :thumbs:
