New HU speaker wiring question
I'm looking at new double din head unit. Question is, can I run the door subs through the stock amp, then bypass the amp for front and rear speakers with new speaker wire to run them on deck power? Non Bose, 2010 C6 BTW.

What exactly are you looking to do? Imo, you might be better off just upgrading the 3.5" door speakers and the 5.25" rears with some aftermarket ones and keep everything running off the stock amp. Changing the 3.5" door speakers will probably give you the biggest noticeable improvement by cleaning up the muddiness inherent in the stock system.

Thanks for the response. I'm upgrading the speakers as well. From what I understand, the problem with the rears is they run through the amp and don't receive a full range signal. Which is why I'd like to bypass the amp for the rears and probably the front tweeters as well.
