Hi,
I have seen many people installed their sub reversely, the magnet on top like Michael in our forum.
What diff between that installation and the normal installation?
On my HU, it got the setup for sub to be reversed.
And how much volume do you build for that kind of reverse box?
I love the look of my sub magnet :D so I wanna build it like that :D
Thanks
the only diff between regular install and reverse is you get to see the back of the sub and not the top...installation is the same as is the required enclosure size.
Don't forget to add the volume inside the cone to the enclosure volume. A rough calculation should be sufficient to give you some idea of what that volume is.

Depends on the box. Just doing some rough calculations for a 12" speaker, I'm getting somewhere between .1 and .2 cu ft. If you're running a 1.5 cu ft box, it's not that significant, but if your box is only .5 cu ft, you may want to account for it.
I figured the volume using a cone with a radius of 5 inches and a depth of 2 inches, then guesstimate how much volume you lose due to the dust cap in the middle.
