Default Help please???

While looking for a courtesy lamp delay, I disconnected a little black thingie
with a printed circuit inside. Everything looked OKso I plugged it back in.
Now my Pioneer doesn't come on at all. My car is an '86; this thing is located
on the right side, behind the ac duct. It has #14078971 on it.(no luck with local Chevy dealer). It has 4 wires into it.. pink/black, green, black, and grey.
Any help id'ing this thing ??? I don't even know what it is to buy a new one if I need it!

Thanks for any help

I looked @ my 86 electrical diagnosis manual & could not find any device with that combination colors on the wires, On my 86 there is a black box about 1x1 inches it is located under the passenger side of the dash all the way over to the right, is this what you
are talking about?. Keep in mind that the amp relay is some place behind the I/P & to the right of the radio. :flag

:seeya Thanks for responding! That's about the size of this thing...It's
located between the large and small AC ducts. The wire colors are correct.
It has a printed circuit with a bunch of little diodes, or something on it. The local Chevy dealer didn't have a clue over the phone, so I guess I'll just take it in tomorrow and see what we can find out about it. #14078971(623)(913)
By the way, where can I get wiring diagrams? Down load, or do you have to purchase them? I've been lucky I guess, haven't had any electrical problems until now.
( Drive it) gave me a discription of the courtesy lamp delay, but I don't seem to have it anywhere. Same with the amp relay.

Again, thanks for any help.

 Took the module in today...after much searching they think it's a "low coolent level module" but they're not sure. Printed me up a couple sheets of Alldata diagrams and that should help some. They're not Bose though, and don't show an amp relay. Told me to check fuse links...are they all located behind the battery? They didn't know. It looks like my problems are with the #40 circuit, or fuse-link M, where It's at I don't know. Any ideas?
Looked up HELMS, 86 isn't avaliable at this time. Cut my hand rather badly on the lower panel brace; I quit until Monday. Again, thanks!

:seeya That would be darned nice of you if possible. I don't have a fax machine, so if there's any other way that would be fine. If a fax is necessary I can give you my sisters' fax nr.
I went back to the Chevy dealer and got an additional page which includes the lamp delay. Monday I'll take the dash apart again, and go from there. You've been very helpful, thanks.
