Speaker Repair or Replace
I recently shorted out my left CDT component speakers. I think I blew the crossover, but I am not entirely sure. Is it worth the trouble to fix and if so how much should I expect to pay? I bought my CDT CL-61 for $189 three weeks ago, but it appears as thought the price went up to $300. CBR Stereo was selling them below the retail price so CDT does not do business with them anymore. I could go to Canal street and get a pair of Inifinity Kappa 6.05CS for $189. Is that a better way to go than repairing or replacing? I figure I could always repair the busted CDT and use them as rears and then use the Kappas for the front.
