Alpine XMA-T200RF Install Tips?
I'm going to do an install in my FRC this afternoon. I've done a couple of installs in the past so I'm pretty familiar with most factors regarding wiring/cable hook-ups, etc., but does anyone have tips/ideas or cautions regarding anything C5 specific? I'm thinking of installing the receiver unit under the passenger side seat (there seems to be room and I would like to suspend it slightly by attaching to the seat springs)and maybe using the ashtray location for the remote display head. Does anybody have any better ideas? I'm also going to be using the Terk XM3 antenna and would prefer to do a hidden install if possible. Any ideas/experiences regarding antenna placement? Is there a link/site that anyone knows of that might point me in the right direction?
I would appreciate anyone's thought or ideas.
