Default Power Problem

I got a cd player and am hooking it up in my C3. I got everything hooked up and have power to it, but when it wont turn on. But the equalizer that runs through it works. When I disconnect the power line to the cd player the equalizer doesnt work so I know there is power getting to it, but it wont turn on. Any help? :banghead:

you should have 2 power leads, a 12v constant and a 12v switched. Did you wire both up and correctly?

I am pretty sure. There is a red and black wire and then there is a big black wire. Sorry if this sounds dumb. I dont really know what I am talking about.

The "big black wire" is probobly the antenna lead. There should be a red wire(12v switched), a yellow wire(12v constant), and a similar sized black wire(ground).

The yellow has a black box on it. Is this correct?
