I have a 350 watt amp (mono) running into a 300 watt rated sub. I used a 2-30 watt rated RCA output adapter. All is perfect wiring with no problems (kinda **** that way), but, I have the head unit, the Rca adapter and the amp all to maximum output to get enough bass which I think is a little weird. I tapped into the front speakers for more low signal so, do I need a larger Amp or is it possible to get a better (bigger watt) rca output adapter to draw more power?? Anyone......Bueller............????????? ???????

If you want more bass you will need more amp power. The Type-R sub can take more power than the MRP-M350 can dish out. The Type-R can handle 500W and an MRD-M500 with a RUX-4280 would be a great match.
Thanks guys. Are you sure about tapping into the back speakers? Everyone on the boards until now seemed to believe not to tap the back speakers as they are not a full range signal. I wouldn't mind trying the backs but if it is not going to make enough difference (or worse, no difference) then I am starting to "butcher" what little wiring they leave to work on already. It is already starting to look like frankenstein back there. I've got to get it cleaned up (and possibly soldered) before I put the screws (neck bolts :D ) back in for good. I was thinking maybe I could get more power from a better Rca line adapter, does that make sense????????

Not really. You will see no real gain here as long as the current RCA adapter you have is sending the amp a complete source signal in the .2V to 4V range. The MRP-M350 does have speaker level inputs so you may want to try those.
I have no experience with modifying the BOSE setup so I am not sure about the issues involved with adding an external amp to it. You should read this ->TECH TIP<-
What is the model of the speaker level adapter you are using? Also, which front speakers did you tap into, there are 2 of them. I tried to help a guy who was running the same amp and sub you are trying. We only got a limited signal out of the converter. He ended up replacing the HU and the same amp/sub set up acted like it was suppose to.
