Help with bose interface

I have a 01 Z06 and getting ready to make a partition/sub box.
What is the best bose interface to tap a high impedance signal for a sub. I would like a plugin unit.
Any recomendations and where to buy one?

I think most people here are not sure about what you want. So lets see if I can help. 1. do you have a amplifier 2. are you asking about amplifier. 3. you will not be able to run a sub of the stock bose system with out a amp. Hope this helps.

as posted in the C5 general section, pac-audio.com makes a plug in interface that gives u preamp RCA outs for hook up to the amp for the sub.

Looking at pac-audio.com which interface do I need? I pulled out the bose system in my C5 and I am trying to put an aftermarket deck in.

jeez, dude... don't use the blose speakers, they are the reason is sounds so crappy.

most adaptors create more noise than music. I would ditch the entire system and do it right.

Yeah I am ditching the speakers...I just confused myself on this whole thing and things are starting to clear up. My problem was that I could not find an acc wire and it was driving m crazy. I did not want to wire it to the always on and have to turn the unit on and off everytime I got in the car. I have now read that I can either take the acc wire from around the kick panel or the ignition. That should solve all of my problems and allow me to use the harness I have hooked up right now. I replaced the speakers and I am putting in a sub so it should sound good once I am done. I hate Bose!
