John, I checked by phone today and I'm in. Maybe you can show me the lines, so I can get up to speed quickly?

To all others that offered info and encouragement, thanks. My car is #97 a yellow Z06 with big Phoenix Performance lettering all over.

See you there.

Cool Frank.

We normally have our corvette corral up front center of the paddock.

Frank, if you haven't seen any video of VIR, Falcon has some on his site which may be helpful. Check out the one where he's chasing another Z, it starts entering turn 4 Nascar Bend. "Who's Your Daddy" shows one of the DP cars we ran with last year passing Falcon and me. Look forward to seeing you there.

I think I have three or four sessions on that track. First day was 17 degrees and high of 37. The second day was good but my Torque tube went so I missed the last session. I was nursing the brakes as it was the last event of the year and I didn't want to bother doing brakes for two sessions. I even went to church on track.

Stay right down the front straight as I remember it. I have been playing it in my mind for two years. Hope to see you there Frank to play and meet the Southern Forum racers You will loved the hills at 150 the cars ahead dissapear in the dips. You can slid around the BIG oak tree. Hope the traffic is not as bad as Thanksgiving Day weekend was 13 hrs & 12. from Long Island There will be some lethal fast cars I hope to watch and point by.

Thanks for the videos. We'll see about speeds after a couple of days running the track.

Default New Car at VIR

My son & I just bought a used 2002 ZO6 T1 car. Have not picked it up yet but hopefully all is well. We went to VIR 2 years ago for a NASA driving weekend in a Toyota MR2 & were hooked. This is new for us so any help will be greatly appreciated. Really looking forward to this event. See you all there.

White group. A few guys will run in blue.

Last year White was faster then chit and highly experience drivers. The Daytona Protoypes ran in Red and White last year as Synergy ( then G & W ) was testing new drivers.

Red is FULL race prep cars, with licence. There were a lot of race cars in White as some of those guys forgot to bring thier cars log books

Sasco Sports is next the the Synergy garage and they do a lot of race tires plus restore old race cars. Deffinitly worth going to look at the TWO SHOPS.
