Battery Quick Disconnect Switch
Bought a quick disconnect switch from Corvette Central, the round **** type. Question: I know one end of the disconnect switch attaches to the positive side of the battery, however, how does the positive cable hook up to the new switch? Do I need to cut my positive cable or just attach the positive cable (somehow) to the switch? Can anyone post a picture of how they did theirs? Sorry to waste space with such a simple question, but to be honest, I was not sure and this is the only way to learn.
Thanks
Tod

Heh Tod,
If it's the same one I have ..it's got a green round ****. It should also have a tail sticking out that's kinda rounded.
Also .I have the disconnect mouted on my "NEGITIVE BATTERY POST".
My negitive battery cable is connected to the tail on the switch. The switch then connects to the battery terminal. Sorry ..don't have a pic.
If this is the type you have ..no cutting is needed..
Here's the hook up on my 65. Negative cable to round post ("tail") of the switch, then fasten the clamp of the switch to the negative post. On my car the negative post sits toward the front of the left fender (AC car) and is really easy to reach.

Get that battery hooked up, those new '65 plates on the car and cruise! Hopefully good weather is on the way! '65 is still stored in the Car Jacket, but the '98 is on the road.
