First Running
Giggles are in order for me tonight. Started my 67 327/350 for the first time after a complete engine rebuild done by me. I've done them 35 years ago but not for a long time. The biggest challenge was getting over the Fear of cranking her up and running at 2000 RPM for 20 Min. or so to break in the Cam. I did use the EOS from GM, and Rotella Diesel Oil. Years back we just got it to run and started adjusting stuff. Only problem was Stupid, (me) put the wires in the Dist. cap in reverse order!!!
Once I corrected that I was on my way. Oh the sound of a healthy engine and old burnt out side-pipes!!!!
