engine compartment color
is the engine compartment (inner fenders) supposed to be painted a semi flat black? also, i'm having a hard time finding this color (for dash cluster, glove box) in stores. Is semi-flat black the same as semi-gloss black?

The paint many guys use for the inner fenders and dash is SEM Trim Black#39143 or Krylon #1613 (on bottom of can). The gloss or lack of is as close to original as you can get it seems.

I see from your profile that you have a 72. The dash and glove box were painted with vinyl dye, not semi-gloss black paint.
