Default 1969-1975 Corvette Original NOS 15X8 Rally Wheels

Will these fit on my 1967? They are close to me and a good deal....

They are Kelsey-Hayes

Wheel Code as Stamped:

* Manufacturer - Kelsey-Hayes (K) Plant - 1 (1)
* Year of Manufacture - 1993 - Last Year for Original Wheels (93)
* Month of Manufacture - October (10)
* Day of Manufacture - 20th (20)
* Size Code - AZ (AZ)

I just want to make sure I don't have any fitment issues before I go pick them up.... TIA

-Jake

it should be 1973. KH was not around the 90's. they will fit but I am sure the tires will rub on the fenders and inner fenders.

Rub just sitting there, or rub over a large bump/tight turn?

I wouldn't do it. If you want a wider stock-looking wheel get the 1968 15x7's.

It's a bit of a special situation.... I need them yesterday, and they are the only ones close to me.

I have them on my '67 but I've trimmed the inside lips and raised the cutout slightly. Car looks much better with fat tires!!!

Please explain - "Trimmed the inside lips and raised the cutout slightly". :o I'm a little slooow.

....... Would they rub just sitting there, or just over bumps/turns (if I didn't do what you mentioned above)?

Thanks, guys, for your quick replies!

they probably won't rub just 'sitting there', but they will probably rub on bumps on the rear, fronts will probably be OK.

Thanks... that's what I needed to know.

I've got 17" Torque-Thrust II's on it right now, with 255 series rubber in the rear.... those don't rub, so, I'm thinking they might just work for what I need them for.

If you use them, be prepared for expen$ive fiberglass and paint work; midyears are extremely intolerant of wider-than-stock 15" wheels (they were designed in 1961, around 6.70-15 tires on 5-1/2" wheels).

I found a way around my issue... so I don't need these anyway.

..... However.... I do run 17x8 TTII's front and rear (245/45/17 and 255/45/17 rubber front and rear, respectively), and don't have any issues with rubbing.
